General information

Located 62 kilometers south of Rhodes Town and 23 kilometers from Lindos, Gennadi is the last organized beach along the island’s southern coast. Stretching right after Kiotari, it is a long stretch of sand interspersed with fine pebbles and boasts pristine azure waters that invite visitors to take a refreshing dip.

Gennadi can be divided into two, completely different parts. Being only partly organized, the first one is more quiet and peaceful, and it is quite possible to find a spot in which to enjoy the sea and the sun in privacy. Well-organized with umbrellas and sundecks, beach bars, taverns, and water sports facilities, the other part is completely different, and, on Sundays, it hosts the island’s liveliest beach parties, with DJs that attract the youth of the entire island.

Gennadi village, where visitors can also find some accommodation options, lies a few hundred meters from the beach, on the other side of the country road that leads to Prasonisi Beach, the paradise of surfers.
