General information

Just below the village of Monolithos, about 75 km southwest of Rhodes Town, lies the remote Alyki Beach. To reach it, you have to follow the long and winding road from the village's coast until you reach a sign that reads “Alyki Beach”.

Those who make the trip will be delighted by the sight of crystal blue waters and a beautiful pebbly shore. Surrounding the beach are interesting rock formations and some green hills in the distance. Visitors should be mindful of some of the sharper rocks which can make traversal of the shore a bit tricky.

Alyki Beach is unorganized, however you will find a handful of sunbeds available for rent. There are no shops or canteens in the area, so make sure to come equipped with all the water and food you might need. The beach is also fairly secluded and most of the time quiet, providing a more serene and isolated experience than some of the busier beaches on the island.
