Patmos Villages

Location: On the southern side of the island
Description: Chora is a traditional village built atop a hill, offering great sea views. It streches around the monastery and stands out for its elegant architecture.

Description: Skala is the port and the most developed tourist resort in Patmos. It is built around a lovely bay and boasts magnificent views of the Monastery of Saint John in Chora.

Location: 9 km north of Chora
Description: The village of Kambos is located on the slopes of a hill. It has lovely houses and a small church dedicated to the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary.

Location: 4 km southeast of Chora
Description: Grikos is a picturesque tourist settlement close to Chora. It has some tourist facilities and a beautiful pebbly beach.

Location: 3 km east of Chora
Description: Sapsila is actually a small cove close to Chora. It has a calm beach and some nice fish taverns.
