Patmos Church of Evangelistria

The small Church of Evangelistria is located in the picturesque settlement of Kambos, about 8 km north of Chora, the island’s capital. Lying in the main square of the village, it has been well-maintained and is open to visitors.

The church is distinguished by its all-white exterior and impressive bell tower with many bells. Inside, it boasts a collection of rare religious icons, including the miraculous icon of Evangelistria. The walls showcase vibrant frescoes that are sure to mesmerize and impress visitors.
