Kos Limnionas beach

General information

The beach of Limnionas lies 42 km southwest of Kos Town and 4.5 km north of Kefalos. Located in a small artificial bay, the beach boasts a short stretch of golden sand and azure waters. The waters are relatively calm and inviting for swimmers. However, some larger rocks in certain areas make entrance into the sea challenging and not ideal for smaller kids.

A handful of sunbeds and parasols line the shore and comprise the full extent of the beach’s facilities. The remote location of Limnionas makes for a quiet atmosphere that is rarely disturbed by big crowds, perfect for a day of relaxation. A traditional restaurant overlooks the scenic beach and offers many delectable seafood dishes in addition to a gorgeous panoramic view of the bay.
