General information

Camel Beach is located 36 km southwest of Kos Town and 5 km from Kefalos. The beach was named after the impressive rock formations just behind it that, when observed from the sea, resemble a camel’s hump. It features a sandy shore adorned with pebbles and clean water that is usually pretty calm.

The beach is well-organized, offering all the needed facilities including umbrellas and sunbeds to rent, a shower, and changing rooms.
There are few accommodation options around Camel Beach, however, it remains less busy than other coasts in the region, offering a nice rest bite from bigger tourist resorts. At the highest point of the road overlooking the beach lies a fish restaurant, with many delicious seafood dishes and refreshing beverages.

You can reach the beach by taking the road from Kos Town to Kefalos. It is indicated by a large sign and there is a parking area nearby.
