In brief, Karpathos has a small national airport that receives regular flights from Athens and seasonal flights from some European countries.
The island can also be reached by ferry, but the trip is very long. An alternative would be to fly to Rhodes and proceed to Karpathos by ferry. To get to the island from Crete, other islands of the Dodecanese and the Cyclades, the only option is the ferry.

Karpathos International Airport receives domestic flights from Athens all year round. The duration of the flight is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
During the summer, it also receives flights from some European countries, including Germany and the Netherlands.

From Rhodes to Karpathos, the trip lasts between 3 hours and 20 minutes and 4 hours and 30 minutes.
