Karpathos International Airport receives domestic flights from Athens all year round. The duration of the flight is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Upon your arrival on the island, you can reach your destination by car, bus, or taxi, as the distance to Pigadia, the capital town of the island, is around 14 kilometers.

You can reach Karpathos by ferry from the port of Piraeus in Athens, as there are approximately 3 weekly connections. However, the trip duration varies from 13 hours and 25 minutes to 20 hours, depending on the route.
Apart from Athens, the island is also connected by ferry with other islands like Santorini, Anafi, Kasos, Rhodes, and Crete (Heraklion and Sitia), while depending on the year, it may also receive ferries from other islands. From Rhodes to Karpathos, the trip lasts between 3 hours and 20 minutes and 4 hours and 30 minutes.
