Karpathos Mikri Amoopi beach

The beautiful bay of Amoopi consists of three sandy beaches with turquoise waters and fine sand, ideal for all types of visitors.

One of these beaches is Mikri (Little) Amoopi, which is well-organized with umbrellas and sunbeds. Being sheltered from the wind and boasting shallow warm waters, it is a nice choice for swimming, especially for children. As it is one of the most popular beaches on the island, it offers plenty of choices in terms of accommodation and has some of Karpathos’ most luxurious resorts.

Close to the beach, you can also find traditional taverns and restaurants to sample the local delicacies. At night, you may even get the chance to enjoy your meal to the sound of live music, as some of the taverns organize music nights.

Amoopi can be accessed both by car and by bus from the main town.
