Karpathos Kampi beach

General information

Kampi Beach is located on the eastern coast of Karpathos, 49 km north of Pigadia and just 1 km from Diafani. It features a short pebbly shore and crystal-clear waters that are relatively shallow and calm, making them ideal for a leisurely swim. The seabed does, however, have a lot of seagrass and rocks in certain areas.

The beach itself is not organized and does not offer any sunbeds or umbrellas. Visitors are advised to come well-equipped with all the necessities, including food and water. Kampi is never crowded and provides a quiet atmosphere perfect for a day of relaxation. It also lies in proximity to the well-organized Diafani Beach, which offers a lot more amenities, including beach bars and accommodations in the wider region.

To visit the beach, it is advised that you leave your car at the nearby village of Diafani and make the rest of the trip on foot. Walk down the winding dirt track that will lead you to a small church and from there follow the path through the many olive trees. The whole trip should take no more than 15 minutes and is very much worth it once you reach the tranquil beach.
