Karpathos Diafani beach

General information

Stretching for at least 200 meters, Diafani is a long pebbly beach located right in front of Diafani’s seaside promenade. Its inviting azure waters deepen gradually and are usually quite calm, while the beach is cut in two by a pier used by excursion boats from the south of the island.

It is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, but there is still enough room left for visitors to lay down their own equipment as well if they wish to. Despite being easily accessible from Diafani, it has remained peaceful and is imbued with the laid-back atmosphere that characterizes the rest of the village. For a meal or a refreshment, visitors have but to walk up to the taverns and cafes that line the picturesque seafront.
