Karpathos Agrilaopotamos beach

General information

Located on the southern coast of the island, 17 kilometers from Pigadia and just 5 kilometers from Karpathos Airport, Agrilaopotamos is a beautiful secluded beach with golden sand and shallow waters. It offers great views of the neighboring Kasos, and being exposed to the strong winds that blow between the two islands, it is a true heaven for windsurfing and kitesurfing enthusiasts. The small cove formed near the beach is ideal for beginners, while experienced surfers will find the perfect conditions for their favorite sport in the open sea further away.

Argrilaopotamos is not organized, but there is a canteen equipped with all the necessary supplies. As it never gets crowded, it will be appreciated mostly by those looking for relaxation away from the more cosmopolitan resorts. To get there, you need to take the road to the airport, follow the dirt-road leading to Arkassa and Lefkos, and then turn left when you see the sign indicating the beach.
