Karpathos Agios Petros beach

General information

Agios Petros Beach is located on the eastern shore of the island, less than 2 km east of Pigadia. It is named after the small church that overlooks the beach, distinguished by its white exterior and light blue features. The beach boasts a pebbly shore and deep blue waters that are usually pretty calm.

The beach is surrounded by impressive rock formations and lush vegetation. It remains completely unorganized, with no sight of umbrellas or any other amenities. What it lacks in facilities it makes up for in scenic beauty and a serene atmosphere away from the busier beaches of the capital.

It should be noted that some beach-goers have complained about some metal pipes present on one side of the shoreline.
