The church of Agios Nikolaos is considered to be the protector of the island. Located in Nimborio, the church distinguishes for its impressive bell tower. It was built in 1861 and hosts interesting frescoes.
Alimia is a small, uninhabited islet with crystal pebbled beaches. There you can see the Castle of the Knights of Saint John and two chapels dedicated to Saint George and Saint Minas. You go to Alimia in 30 minutes, with excursions boat from Halki.

The Monastery of Agios Ioannis (Saint John) Alarga is situated on a high plateau and lies at the west end of Halki. There is a nice peaceful courtyard in the monastery with a large cypress tree. Visitors can spend the night there. The monastery is located 8 km west of Nimborio.
