Founded in 1987, the Ecclesiastical Museum of Arnados is housed in a utility room next to the Church of the Ascension, in the Monastery of Kechrovouni. Visitors of the monastery should not miss out on visiting this intriguing museum, to better familiarize themselves with the rich religious heritage of the island. A collection of religious relics, old icons from temples of the region, crosses, vestments, and old books and documents are just some of the fascinating exhibits one can see here.
