Tinos Stafida (Panormos) beach

General information

Stafida is the lovely beach of the village of Panormos. It consists of fine white sand and a few pebbles along with striking blue waters. On one side, you will be able to see the whitewashed buildings of the settlement, while on the other stands a small rocky hill. It should be noted that the bay can sometimes get very windy.

The beach is not organized, lacking sunbeds, umbrellas, and other facilities. However, many trees lie right on the shore, creating a wonderful natural ambiance and offering ample shade. Off in the distance, you will also be able to make out the lighthouse of Planitis on the homonymous isle. The wider region of Panormos does offer nice restaurants and charming cafes along its small port, in addition to some accommodations.

Panormos is situated within a 6-minute drive from the nearby settlement of Pyrgos. The drive from the capital is a lot longer, taking about 45 minutes to complete. Those visiting the area wanting more seclusion can venture out to the rocky beach of Agia Thalassa.
