General information

Pachia Ammos Beach is located on the southeastern coast of the island, 9 km east of Tinos Town. This idyllic destination boasts golden dunes that stretch to the edge of the crystalline sea, creating a wonderful picture and offering the ideal conditions for a day of swimming and sunbathing. The waters are also quite shallow, making this a good choice for families with younger kids. Small hills and rugged rock formations dominate the area, adding to its wild natural beauty and isolated atmosphere.

The beach invites visitors with its unspoiled and peaceful surroundings and there are no beach facilities to disturb this wonderful experience. There is a country club overlooking Pachia Ammos, however, the beach remains mostly undiscovered. It is the perfect spot for those who wish to spend some moments of solitude away from the hustle and bustle of more popular beach resorts. Beach-goers are advised to come prepared with everything they might need, including food and water.

You can access the beach from Tinos Town via a 20-minute drive along a paved road. Alternatively, you can take the bus to Ormos Agiou Ioanni, which is about a 40-minute walk from Pachia Ammos.
