Tinos Ormos Giannaki (Kardianis) beach

General information

Also known as Ormos Kardianis, Ormos Giannaki is a deligτhful beach located 16 km northwest of Tinos Town, right below Kardiani village. Boasting amazing views of the neighboring island of Syros, it is strewn with sand and pebbles, and is mostly known for its crystalline waters, which are usually sheltered from the strong summer winds.

Being partly organized with a few umbrellas and sunbeds, Ormos Giannaki is also particularly famed for the excellent food served by the local taverns. The beach is easily accessible both on foot via a path that starts at Kardiani and by car from the main town.
