Tinos Kionia beach

General information

Located about 3 kilometers northwest of Tinos Town, the cosmopolitan Kionia is a long sandy beach lined by verdant trees that offer visitors ample natural shade. It is well-organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, while a number of cafes and beach bars provide plenty of eating and drinking options.

Besides its magnificent views of the island of Syros, Kionia also stands out for its archaeological interest, as it stretches right in front of the Sanctuary of Poseidon.

I would not recommend this one

I would not recommend this one. The beach is pretty rocky with quite big waves, nor an easy acess to the sea. We wanted to stay at some beach clubs but they have see better days (Ammos and Apnoea).Umbrellas and sunbeds were shaby. Dissapointment.

    Not bad
Sandy beach close to the town. Not bad but there are so many better beaches on the island that I wouldn't recommend this one. It's organised though but there are a lot of people.
