Open since 1994, the municipal Cyclades Art Gallery of Syros is housed inside an old warehouse that was once used for cargo storage! The gallery frequently hosts new, temporary exhibitions that mostly focus on artistic creations regarding Cycladic life and customs!

Past exhibitions include paintings of contemporary Greek artists, sea-themed memorabilia, and an exhibition filled with works related to the population exchanges of the 1910s and 1920s and the Greek Revolution, including portraits, findings, and traditional costumes! Also, the Cyclades Art Gallery boasts a small theater able to host all kinds of plays!

In addition, the Gallery has no entrance fee, and its optional guided tour comes free of charge!
The municipal Cyclades Art Gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00!
