The classy Avant Garden of Syros is a fine dining restaurant housed in a warm, homey environment, with parquet floorings, stone-built walls, and a majestic fireplace, whereas its outdoors features a lovely garden! The experienced chef, having worked in various five-star hotel restaurants (and in Belgium for half a decade), uses fresh ingredients to create dishes based on Greek flavors with a high-end twist.
Its starter dishes include cheese varieties, steamed vegetables, and a mouth-watering ox tongue carpaccio, whereas the main courses include delicacies such as homemade seafood ravioli, a rooster dish with tomato cannelloni, and pork tenderloin! On top of that, you may finish your dining with one of the available desserts, like a loukoumi rose petal ice cream (loukoumi being a traditional dessert of Syros Island)!
Furthermore, Avant Garden can prepare lovely spirits and cocktail mixes for you, as well as serve you beers, branded ouzo/tsipouro drinks, and a bottle of fine wine from its extensive wine catalog. In case you prefer something that is non-alcoholic, you may ask for coffee, tea, or fresh juice, too!
