The Church of Agios Nikolaos is found on the northwestern side of Sifnos, about 6.5 km from the settlement of Troulaki. This modest chapel is built atop a rocky cliff that overlooks the sea and boasts some tufts of lush vegetation. This idyllic location creates an enchanting picture, the church's whitewashed arches and stone details blending harmoniously with the vast blue Aegean.

To reach the church, one must walk a long trail. Those traveling by car can park in the parking area 2 kilometers from the church. From there it should take you about 30 minutes on foot before reaching the small trail of steps leading to the charming church. The hike is very much worth the effort for the unparalleled scenic beauty and tranquil atmosphere that awaits you. This is also one of the best sunset-viewing spots in all of Sifnos, as the warm colors of the sun shine upon the glistening waters of the sea.
