General information

Vroulidia is one of Sifnos's quieter and most beautiful beaches, situated about 6 km from Cheronissos. It has a shore made of sand and pebbles, and shallow crystalline waters, making this an ideal destination for families. The entrance to the sea is lined with pebbles and small rocks, however, the seabed quickly transitions into coarse sand. Two wooden piers that facilitate entrance to the sea are also found there.

Vrouldia Beach boasts sunbeds and umbrellas that are available to rent. A bar and a nice fish tavern near the beach offer excellent Greek specialties and refreshing drinks, along with some shady areas to rest under. Despite these amenities, the area remains relatively undiscovered and rarely gets crowded. Visitors can expect a highly serene atmosphere in an environment dominated by tall hills that further add to the secluded nature of the beach. The sunset seen from here is also strikingly beautiful, with the warm colors of the sun bathing the impressive hills and pristine blue waters.

Access to the beach is not as easy as it is for other, more central locations. Vroulidia is reachable through a winding dirt road, the trip from Apollonia taking a little less than 25 minutes to complete. The journey is very much worth it, however, as this is one of the most tranquil spots on the island, perfect for those seeking some privacy away from the hustle and bustle of busier resorts.
