General information

Gialoudia Beach is located on the western coast of Sifnos, about 9.5 km northwest of Apollonia and just 1 km from the small village of Troulaki. This secluded bay consists of stunning turquoise waters and a small shore fully covered with pebbles. It is surrounded by rocky hills that hug the coast, creating a tranquil environment for the utmost relaxing experience. The depth of the sea increases evenly, making this a good spot for swimming.

There are no facilities on the beach, so do not expect to see umbrellas on sunbeds. Visitors are encouraged to bring towels and umbrellas to relax by the sea. They should also come equipped with all the essentials, including sunscreen, food and water, and anything else they might need. Because of its remote location and lack of amenities, the beach is never crowded, offering a quiet and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of busier tourist resorts.

Gialoudia Beach can be accessed through a very challenging hike down a mountainous and rugged landscape. It is recommended to access the beach by boat. Small boats depart from the port of Kamares and reach the beach within about 10 minutes.
