Sifnos Fassolou beach

General information

Stretching in a sheltered cove close to the seaside Faros, Fassolou is a lovely beach with pristine azure waters. Though the shore is strewn with fine golden sand, the sea bed is covered with pebbles, making the waters particularly transparent and ideal for snorkeling. From the beach, you can also enjoy amazing views of the Chrissopigi Monastery.

Apart from a few tamarisk trees, affording some natural shade, there is nothing else, so Fassolou is perfect for a profoundly relaxing experience, away from the hustle and bustle of large crowds. Within a few meters from the beach, however, there is a nice tavern serving fresh seafood and other local delicacies.

Further tourist facilities can be found in Faros, while access is possible either by car or by bus. In the first case, you will find a parking lot right behind the beach, while in the second case, you will need to get off at the village and follow a short path for about 5 minutes.
