Serifos Piazza Square

Piazza (Agios Athanasios) Square in Serifos: The Pano Piazza Square is situated in Chora, the capital of Serifos. Chora hovers on the side of a mountain, overlooking the large harbor. From here there are signboards to Kastro Quarter, where the Central Square stands, in front of the Town Hall. Pano Piazza square means Upper Square. The square is cozy, with tables from several small ouzeries and a taverna. The 17th-century metropolitan church of Agios Athanasios is also an attraction in the square.
