Boat trip to Volcano, Hot Springs, Thirassia & Oia (from Athinios port)
General Description
The tour includes some of the major Santorinian attractions bundled up for your convenience.
Starting in the morning, after gathering at the port of Athinios, the boat embarks towards the volcano (on the islet of Nea Kameni), where visitors are able to walk up to the rim of the crater. Magnificent vistas can be admired from there before gathering back on the boat.
The next stop is at the islet of Palea Kameni, mainly for swimming in the hot spring waters along its shores. The water temperature is about 35℃, rich in minerals due to its volcanic nature.
Moving on, Thirassia island awaits to be discovered. Wander around in its untouched land or visit the main village for a local experience.
After Thirassia, the boat takes visitors back to the Athinios port, where they transfer to a bus for the last stop of this fascinating day tour: the village of Oia. Once the bus arrives there, the travellers can savor the awe-inspiring Santorinian sunset from the picturesque settlement.
After dusk, every visitor will be returned to their lodging.
