Located on the main road that leads to Kamari beach, Cine Kamari is the best place to introduce yourself to the old Greek custom of watching a movie at an open-air cinema at least once every summer. Cine Kamari has been around since the late 1980s, welcoming both locals and foreign visitors and adding a hint of magic to the warm starry nights of the Cycladic summer.

The cinema has a lovely garden and is surrounded by tall trees. Its charming design is accompanied by a friendly atmosphere and a retro ambience. There is a bar where you can get snacks and drinks and a bus stop is situated nearby.

Every year, Cine Kamari opens its gates in May and remains open until October. Its movie schedule changes regularly and it is released approximately 2 months in advance. Movie screenings usually start around 21:30, although it is recommended to get there at least an hour and a half beforehand and even earlier on weekends, when the queue to the box office is quite long. The cinema screens both popular old films and new releases in their original language (usually English) with Greek subtitles. From time to time, the cinema houses live performances or other cultural events. The high-quality projector, screen and sound system used ensure an amazing experience!
