Yorgaros (or Giorgaros) Restaurant is located in Akrotiri, a picturesque village on the southern side of the island. The place is run by a family of four brothers, who go to the sea on their own boats to get the fresh catch of the day and serve it up at the restaurant.

The cuisine is mainly traditional Greek, and the menu includes dishes with rabbit meat and a variety of seafood. The fish soup is tasty, as also is the spicy shrimp spaghetti. The local dishes, including fava and tomatokeftedes, top the list of popular items on the menu.
