General information

Santa Maria in Paros is located in proximity to Naoussa, only 2 km away to be more precise. It is a long coastline divided into two soft, golden-sand beaches, both offering a beautiful view of the island of Naxos.

The first section is commonly known as Santa Maria Camping due to the nearby site, while the second (the smaller one or mikri) lies about a kilometer beyond the first, on the right side of the road.
The powdery sand along with the emerald waters and lovely views of Aliki and Naxos are the main reasons why the beach is among guests' favorites.

The water is perfect and clear and the sun-drenched sand is whiter than you will find on other parts of the island.
The beach is fully organized, with sunbeds, umbrellas and water sports facilities. Visitors can try windsurfing, kitesurfing and wakeboarding among others.
Snorkeling is recommended due to the impressive seabed and diverse marine life it houses. If you want to take the experience one step further, a diving center is located on the shore.

The campsite behind the shore and the youth who visits the seaside establishments make it really crowded during the peak season (July and August). If you want to avoid crowds and noise, the smaller bay will accommodate your needs most. 
In addition, the namesake beach bar is open throughout the day, hosting DJs from time to time to enhance the liveliness.

The place is ideal for all types of bathers; groups of friends, families, couples and young people. Due to its size and amenities, everyone can have a great time at the beach!
