Naxos Pigi Tavern Restaurant in Potamia

Due to the wonderful location and the delicious dishes, Pigi is considered among the best taverns in Naxos. It is found in Ano Potamia, next to a prehistoric water spring that gives water even today. Actually, the name of the tavern means water spring.

Set in a paradisial spot, right at the beginning of a walking path, Pigi is largely visited by hikers who walk along this beautiful path till the Castle and then return to the tavern to enjoy the delicious dishes under the shade of tall trees. Dishes are made of fresh local products and the wine is their own production. Try the local pies, rooster cooked in wine and goat meat on the pot.
