Location: Town

Though close to the busiest seaside road of Naxos Chora, this little wine bar is still far enough from the hustle and bustle to afford visitors a sense of peace and quiet.

Established by the agriculturalist-viticulturist Konstantinos Makridimitris, this is a cozy place with tasteful wood decor and a rustic aesthetic, which stands out for its astonishing assortment of hundreds of wines from all over the country. Several of them come from small, little-known wineries, which are sure to amaze you with their rich flavor and aroma. You can also sample the wine produced from the owner’s family vineyard, the Tranampelo, as well as some Greek gin brands, Athenian vermouth and aged tsipouro.

Whatever you choose to taste is accompanied by delicacies chosen by Konstantinos Makridimitris, who picks the most suitable for each kind of wine. Among them, you will find homegrown tomatoes, chili peppers, chilled grapes dipped in kitron liqueur, grape syrup, sweet-and-sour pickle, tomato chutney, olives, nectarines and ginger. Of course, these treats could not fail to include a variety of mouthwatering local cheeses, such goat cheeses with herbs and spices, the galatero, a sweet feta-style cheese, and a variety of gravieras.

You can choose the wines you prefer and have your own wine tasting, as well as eventually buy some if you wish. This is the perfect place to discover the hidden peculiarities of each producer and find out more about the individual production process of every single wine. Afternoon tasting tours are also organized in the family vineyard once a month.
