General information

Mytakas Beach in Milos is located on the island's northern coast, making it quite vulnerable to the winds of the Cyclades. It consists of two separate bays, one longer and one narrower, surrounded by tall rocks. It showcases fine golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, creating an idyllic environment.

Near the beach, one can observe the traditional sirmata of Milos, two-story buildings that were used as secondary homes for fishermen, as well as storage rooms for their boats. Sooo worth a visit

Spent a lovely day here, there’s a food and drink shack, sunbeds and shades to rent for €15 a time if you don’t have your own stuff.. Food and drink are basic but fairly priced. You’ll need to drive to get there but it’s worth it - a little jewel 10 minutes drive from Pollonia.. The beach is sandy with a gravel band just on the line of the breakwater so you might mince a bit getting out! But it’s a wonderful hidden away surprise - highly recommended.
