Kythnos Martinakia beach

General information

Martinakia Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the island. It lies just 900 meters from the port of Merichas and 1.5 km from Episkopi Beach. While swimming in the azure waters, one may see ferries arriving or departing. 

The shore comprises both sand and small pebbles. The local beach bar has equipped part of it with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, while tamarisks provide shade as well.
For holidaymakers who want to be in a tranquil environment but stay close to lively areas, a couple of taverns and rooms to let are found in Martinakia.
