Kythnos Kavourocheri beach

Kavourocheri Beach is a serene coastal retreat on the northeastern side of Kythnos. Located between the areas of Schinari and Potamia, and extending north of Maroulas, this beach offers visitors an escape from the more crowded tourist spots.

Despite its modest length of about 50 meters, Kavourocheri Beach is notably wide, providing ample space for relaxation. The shoreline features a combination of sparkling sand and a small boulder area at the water’s edge. Large trees dot the beach, offering natural shade – a welcome respite from the sun. Travelers can embark on a journey from Loutra towards Agios Sostis, where, midway, a dirt road on the right leads down to the cove of Kavourocheri. This narrow, downhill path spans approximately 500 meters to a cluster of holiday homes boasting excellent views. An additional 200 meters bring visitors to a parking area, where a short walk leads directly to the beach.
