Kythnos Gaidouromantra beach

General information

Gaidouromantra Beach is a remote beach close to Simousi Beach. It has a long shore and crystal-clear waters, ideal for those seeking peace and privacy, since it does not tend to get crowded. Fine pebbles comprise the shore, yet the seabed becomes more and more sandy as you move deeper into the azure sea. Moreover, the seaside tamarisk trees generously offer protection from the sun under their branches to the bathers.

The beach does not offer any facilities or amenities, only a few summer houses built close to the coast. Therefore, it is advised to take some supplies with you.

Visitors can reach the beach only by wheeled vehicles. However, we recommend being very careful, as the road is asphalt first and becomes dirt after a while, interrupted by pieces of concrete and potholes. Parking space is limited, and many drivers leave their cars at the small church before the beach and continue on foot.
