Kythnos Episkopi beach

General information

Episkopi Beach is a small yet charming sandy beach. It is one of the closest beaches to Kythnos Chora and therefore receives a lot of visitors in summer. Families in particular prefer it due to its clean and shallow waters and the fact that it is protected from the wind.

Episkopi's coast is a 500-meter stretch of sand lined up with tamarisk trees. Most of the beach is unspoiled, yet the on-site beach bar offers some sunbeds and parasols for rent.
Some accommodation options are available near the beach, while at the water's edge, one can see the chapel of Agios Vlassios. Kayak lessons and experiences are also offered in the waters of Episkopi.

Visitors can reach the beach by car, and there is ample free parking space. Sometimes, buses from Merichas to Chora make a stop at Episkopi, yet you need to ask the driver in advance to be sure.
