General information

Antonides Beach is located on the southeastern side of the island. More specifically, it lies on the more unseen side of Kanala, with a cape separating it from the more lively side of the settlement and the popular Megali Ammos Beach.
Access to Antonides is a bit challenging, as guests must descend (and then ascend) around 90 steps. For that reason, you will rarely encounter families with small children or elderly people there. On the other hand, the beach is quite popular among young people.

This is a small and quiet beach, perfect for bathers seeking serenity and privacy. The shore presents both sand and pebbles. As you start entering the sea, you will step on a slab, which is the continuation of the rocks of the nearby hills leading to the blue waters. Nevertheless, you can avoid the slab if you approach the water from the edges of the coast. Some tamarisks standing on the shore provide bathers with shade, allowing them to not carry umbrellas.

Reaching the beach by car is not possible, hence drivers park their vehicles in the settlement and proceed on foot.
