General information

Agios Stefanos Beach is located on the east side of the island, 6 km away from Chora. It owes its name to the quaint church of Agios Stefanos, which stands as a sleepless guard on the edge of the shore.

The beach isn't organized, but the tamarisk trees on the shore can provide guests with shadow. A calm atmosphere prevails in the area, ideal for people searching for a place to relax and enjoy moments of tranquility.

The are no modern establishments, hence young people rarely prefer this area. Yet, the beach's serenity and shallow waters along with the few traditional fish taverns next to the sea attract families and couples.
