Koufonisia has only a few shops and an art gallery to do your shopping from but you will be surprised at the variety of handicrafts and art they have on offer. The souvenirs to carry back home are distinctive to the island and Greece.
The art gallery contains various antiques, paintings and hand painted t-shirts – visiting it even for some window-shopping is a beautiful experience in itself. Chora has an interesting array of souvenir shops selling antiques and other knick-knacks, too.
