Nightlife in Koufonisia: Discover the best places for dinner or a drink!

Due to the island’s small size and alternative atmosphere, nightlife in Koufonisia is more low-key than in other Cycladic islands.

Most entertainment options are concentrated in the settlement of Chora, the only village in Ano Koufonisi, where visitors can spend a relaxing night out sipping a refreshing cocktail and taking in the magnificent sea views. Some of the top choices are Mylos, a quaint bar housed in a restored windmill, and the renowned Sorokos, where you can enjoy stunning vistas of Keros and Kato Koufonisi bathed in moonlight. Located right next to Chora, Ammos Beach also offers a couple of nice options in terms of lounge bars.

What is more, there are plenty of traditional taverns around the port, where you can savor mouthwatering traditional mezes, accompanied by a glass of wine or a shot of excellent local raki.
