Koufonisia Pezoulia beach

General information

Located in the heart of a secluded cove on the southwestern coast of Kato Koufonisi, Pezoulia is an idyllic beach with turquoise waters where you can reconnect with nature and unwind away from noisy crowds. Just bear in mind that it is a mostly pebbly beach with no natural shade, so come prepared with an umbrella, water shoes and, of course, plenty of water and snacks, as there will be no way of procuring them near Pezoulia.

The easiest way of getting there is by hopping on a water taxi and disembarking at Nero Beach. From there, you will have to walk for about 20 minutes, following the path that starts near the small palm tree grove. Though the hike is generally of moderate difficulty, there are a couple of places that require more attention, so be sure to wear solid walking shoes. Along the way, you will be able to enjoy amazing sea views, while your destination will be more than rewarding!
