Koufonisia Fanos beach

General information

Stretching to the right of Finikas, around 2 kilometers from Chora, Fanos is one of the most popular beaches on the island of Koufonisia, and the only one to be partly organized with a few sun loungers where visitors can relax and sunbathe in more comfort. Fringed with shallow turquoise waters sheltered from northern and western winds, it is perfect for families with little children, while the rocky outcrops on either side of the beach also render it great for exploring the rich marine life.

Moreover, the nearby beach bar caters to all needs, so that you can take in the lovely views of Keros while savoring Mediterranean recipes or a refreshing cocktail! To get there, you can either hike along the coastal trail from Chora or hop on one of the water taxis that stop on Fanos Beach.
