Stretching on the island’s southern coast, Chondros Kavos is a small pebbly cove that is ideal for relaxation and for escaping the hustle and bustle of the adjacent Finikas Beach. Boasting the same inviting turquoise waters as the rest of the island’s beaches, it is strewn with a combination of coarse sand and fine pebbles, so being equipped with a pair of water shoes might be a good idea in order to make the most of your experience in Chondros Kavos.

Chondros Kavos is completely non-organized, so you will need to bring along all the things you might need. However, a stone’s throw away from the beach, there is a nice tavern where you can enjoy delicious local recipes while taking in the amazing views of Keros.

Tip: If you mind waves, make sure to check the weather forecast first; Chondros Kavos is conveniently sheltered from the so-called meltemia, the northern summer winds that sweep the Cyclades, yet it can be choppy when the wind blows from the south or the east.
