Two kilometers from the port of Kea, one can find Vourkarion, a restaurant located in the quaint Vourkari village. The tables are placed in a yard, allowing guests to admire the enchanting view of Agios Nikolaos bay.
Their menu features fish- and meat-based plates, as well as desserts. Lobster pasta, taramosalata (Greek fish roe dip), and legume salads comprise some of the most preferred dishes. If you are more in the mood for a simple meal they also serve handmade gyros with tzatziki and french fries. There are also enjoyable dessert options to choose from; the restaurant is mostly proud of its millefeuille. You can accompany your food with a glass of Greek or imported wine.
Vourkarion is not just a restaurant, though. The venue also boasts a gallery where you can admire works of art made by well-known Greek artists. That will be the perfect way to complete your visit after enjoying the palatable dishes.
The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 5.30 pm to midnight while on Sundays from 2 pm to midnight.
