GENERAL INFORMATION
Ios is a beautiful Cycladic island that has been famous for its vivid nightlife for many decades and has maintained this reputation to this day.
Young travelers from Greece, Europe, and all around the world visit Ios every summer for its clubs, bars, and fun by the beach.
It is not absurd that many compare Ios to the fellow Greek party island of Mykonos.
The fact that many young people visit the island has resulted in low prices with budget options, camping, and rooms-to-let, especially around the areas close to the party zone.
Apart from the young tourist party community, in recent years, Ios has attracted visitors who like luxury and privacy, creating a parallel niche product of the exact opposite of what this island has been famous for.
Being a major party destination for years, Ios has developed touristically only in certain locations while others were left completely virgin and untouched by tourism.
Beautiful remote beaches with turquoise waters and dramatic landscapes are found around the island while traces of its rich historic past are everywhere.
Minimally designed lavish retreats are a new option that has flourished on the island of Homer and draws holidaymakers who want to unwind and relax in the heart of the Aegean Sea.
