Karavostasi beach has a distinct Cycladic style which finds expression in the quaint houses that dot the landscape in the periphery of the harbor. The beach is perfect for those who travel with their families.

The best part of Karavostasi beach is its close proximity to numerous other beaches while it offers a plethora of alternative options for short day excursions. The beach is also ideal for long and leisurely walks.

Not many things to do

This was the only sandy beach we went to on Folegandros, as the other beaches had small pabbles or big rocks. It was pretty long but you didn't have many things to do. There were of course a few taverns but no watersports, not even umbrellas. In general, I didn't like the beaches of Folegandros very much as most of them are not organized at all.
