Kalotaritissa Beach Donoussa: Kalotaritissa Beach Donoussa: Kalotaritissa is a small cove on the northern side of Donoussa island, 10km away from the port. It is accessible by car, the local bus and the tour boat “Donoussa Magissa”. The beach is small with clean waters and never gets crowded. There is a traditional tavern nearby and a few local stays.
The nature around the beach is rocky and barren while there is a small islet facing the cove called “Skilonisi”. Its remote location as well as the fact that there is no mobile phone network or Internet in the wider northern region of the island, creates a lost-in-time atmosphere.
