Blue Island Divers in Antiparos

The center Blue Island Divers is located on the beautiful island of Antiparos with its most amazingly clear waters, underwater canyons and caves, rich marine life and spectacular drop-offs. With visibility often reaching 40 meters and sun rays penetrating the blue depths of the Aegean, divers can glide through the rocks and reefs to watch moray eels, octopuses and groupers play hide and seek among the boulders and rocks, and get surprised by tunas, turtles, and stingrays which make an occasional appearance out of the blue.

The dive trips start early in the morning when a comfortable speedboat with capacity for 18 passengers transports divers to the site. The itinerary for the day is fixed depending on the weather conditions and the skill level of the divers. On reaching the diving site, the instructor briefs divers on safety measures to be followed.

The center is PADI certified and all courses are conducted in English, Greek, Italian and French. Approved course materials are used in the form of books or DVDs. All dive sites can be accessed by boat, and some of them are visited exclusively by Blue Island, so guests can be assured of small groups of not more than 5 people. Divers can never strike out on their own without an escort and dives cannot exceed 45 minutes.
