Named after the chapel of Agios Kyprianos that has become an enduring symbol of Andros, the small tavern is located in the bustling touristy area of the harbor town of Gavrio.
The cuisine is local and they also offer a small selection of Andros wine and spirits. Some of their local specialties include froutalia, an omelet of sausage and potatoes, as well as their local cheese, the xerotyri. Others like the spicy cheese dip, fried zucchini blossoms and potato balls are also in the must-try list.
To wind up your meal, try the traditional almond sweets, or the kaltsounia, which is a traditional pastry made with sweet cheese. The prices are reasonable.
