Aporthito is a charming cafe-bar tucked away in one of the paved streets in Chora. Due to its hidden location, the cafe receives only a few people every day and these are mostly tourists.
Aporthito is actually a perfect spot to hang out and drink a cup of coffee or a juice in a quiet atmosphere while you watch people making a stroll around the narrow streets of the island. The cafe serves also delicious pancakes, as well as froutali (an omelet made with local sausages and potatoes), and a selection of traditional desserts, including amygdalota, a kind of almond candy that is popular in the Cyclades.
